Phuket offers a wide range of different beaches. Quiet and crowded beaches, beaches with pearly white sand, big waves and more.
The feeling of sun, sand, warm, clear water and the fascination of nearby coral and sea activities makes this island resort famous.

Patong Beach
Patong Beach is the most popular beach on Phuket Island.
The most of Phuket′s nightlife is located in Patong. It′s the central tourist area - very crowded and high life.
It has a wide range of accommodations, restaurants, bars and discos.

Rawai Beach
Rawai Beach is not adapted for swimming, diving and so on.
If you come to Rawai Beach you normally make a boat excursion to the neighbour islands or you come to eat because of its great seafood.
You eat there along the beach but not on chairs.

Nai Harn Beach
The Nai Harn Beach is one of the most beautiful beach of the island. It′s perfect for go swimming and snorkelling.
In the wet season it′s also possible to do some surfing. We recommend the beach to families who want to have a great day on beach.

Kata Beach
The Kata Beach is separated in Kata Yai Beach (south) and Kata Noi Beach (north).
The beach is wide (about 2km), has white sand and clear water.
Kata has many shops, restaurants and bars. There′s also a miniature golf course (Dino Park) which offers a special athmosphere with volcanoes, waterfalls and more.
In general it′s also excellent for families because of its wide range of activities.

Karon Beach
The Karon Beach has a length of about 3km and is the second biggest beach on Phuket Island. You can find there quite and very crowded places.
The waves are rarely quiet, so it′s not often adapted for children.
Karon offers a wide range of different restaurants, hotels and bars. It′s also ideal for shopping.

Kalim Beach
On the north of Patong you can find the Kalim Beach, a quite beach with rock formations.
It′s not really a beach for swimming, but in turn you can do some snorkeling to explore a few corals.
In general it′s very quite but some accomodations, restaurants and bars can be found there, too. If it is too quiet for you, you can go to the nearby bars of Patong.

Bang Tao Beach
A big rival to Kata and Karon is Bang Tao, having a large open bay with one of Phuket′s longest beach.
The beach is an excellent place for swimming because of its quite waves, and it′s also adapted for snorkeling to discover some beautiful corals.
Many other water activities are offered there, too. So it takes a while before you are getting bored.

Nai Yang Beach
Nai Yang Beach is a very long beach (about 9km), so long that it has to have three names - Nai Yang, Saiy Kaew and Mai Kaow.
The beach and the water is clear and there are a few accomodations, restaurants and bars.
